The Human Layer

Coaching at the edge of an AI shift your organisation doesn't yet see.

Not a primer. Not a forecast. A relocation.

The premise

Most organisations are still treating AI as a productivity tool. You can already see it is becoming something larger.

The Human Layer is a one-day intensive for experienced coaches reading the same signal, who want a clearer reading, a working asset of their own, and the company of peers ahead of the curve.

Who it's for

This is for you if you have at least three years of practice as an agile coach, enterprise coach or team facilitator, and you can read the AI shift earlier than your leadership.

It's especially for you if you've been quietly worried less about being replaced by AI and more about becoming a prompt secretary for leadership who can't see further than tooling.

It's not for you if you want an AI primer, a certification, or a forecast. The day is honest. It's also generous.

What you leave with

A clearer reading of the shift. A working personal asset built during the day. A 30 / 60 / 90 transition plan committed to a peer. Continuing access to a small invitation-only group of practitioners ahead of the curve.

Format

One day, remote. Eight to twelve people. Run personally by Gabriel Opoku, founder of Yesterday Is Not Tomorrow. ICAgile Accredited Trainer, ICE-EC, ICE-AC, Microsoft AI Transformation Leader. Two decades of practice across enterprise agile, organisational design, and the difficult business of helping leadership see what their organisations are not yet equipped to see.

He runs every cohort personally.

How to apply

Cohorts are small and by invitation. There is no public sign-up.

To put yourself forward, send a short message: who you are, what you currently work on, and what you'd want to leave the day with. We'll respond within a few days.

A closing thought

The shape of the coaching role is changing under all of us. The work is to lean into the parts that survive, and to let the rest go.

The Human Layer is one day with peers reading the same change as you, led by someone in the middle of the same transition.

If that lands, we'd like to meet you.
