AI course for beginners

An AI course for beginners who have a job to do

You do not need to learn to code. You do not need to understand neural networks. You need to get Tuesday's work done faster, and you suspect AI could help if someone showed you how.

That is what this course does.

Who it is for

The person we built this for runs a team, a business, or a workload. They have opened ChatGPT a few times, got a mediocre answer, and quietly gone back to doing things the old way. They are not behind because they lack ability. They are behind because nobody has shown them the twenty minutes of technique that changes the output.

What you will do on the day

Not slides about what AI is. Work.

You bring three real tasks from your job. Emails you dread, reports you rewrite, research you put off. By the end of the day you will have done all three with AI, and you will have a written prompt library for each one that you can use on Wednesday morning.

You will also learn the part most courses skip: when not to trust the output. What AI gets wrong, how to spot it, and what should never be pasted into a public tool.

Who teaches it

Gabriel Opoku. Fifteen years making change stick at Mercedes-Benz, ALDI, DEFRA and Creative Assembly. ICAgile accredited trainer. He has watched more AI rollouts stall than succeed, and this course exists because the difference was never the technology.

What it is not

It is not a video library you will never finish. It is not a certificate mill. It is live, it is small, and you will be asked to do things.

The practical bit

One day. Live, not recorded. Small group, so you can ask the questions you'd never ask in a webinar. Online, or in person in the UK.

Next public date: being scheduled now. Register your interest and you'll hear first, before it goes on the site.

Got a team? We run this in-house too. One day, your people, their actual work. Book a call and we'll scope it.

After the course

This is the Foundation level of the YNT training pathway. Most people stop here, and that is fine: the point is working differently on Monday. If you want to go further, Practitioner level takes what you learned and applies it to your team.

Not sure the course is the right starting point? Take the AI Readiness Index first. Twenty questions, five minutes, and it will tell you where you actually are.
